AWS (Amazon Web Services)

AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a cloud services platform provided by Amazon. It is one of the leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions available in the market. AWS offers a wide range of services and tools that enable organizations to build and manage their applications and resources in the cloud in a flexible, scalable and secure way.

On AWS, users can access a variety of services including storage, compute, databases, networking, analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and more. These services are offered in a modular fashion, allowing users to select and combine the components needed to build and deploy their applications.

AWS provides a global and highly scalable infrastructure, with data centers located in different regions around the world. This allows organizations to deploy their applications in locations close to their end users for better performance and low latency.

Some of the most popular AWS services include Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) for creating virtual server instances, Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) for scalable and durable object storage, Amazon RDS (Relational Database Service) for managed relational databases, Amazon Lambda for running code without provisioning or managing servers, and Amazon Sagemaker for developing and deploying machine learning models.

AWS also offers management and monitoring tools, advanced security, networking services, caching, messaging services and more. In addition, it provides a pay-as-you-go pricing model, allowing organizations to pay only for the resources and services they actually use, without incurring significant upfront costs.
