How to check email credits and sending limits

Tell mass-email credits apart from each executive’s daily limit and your email provider’s sending restrictions.

“Email credits” and “sending limits” are not the same thing. The Mass Emails Delivery balance belongs to an add-on for certain campaign sends. CRM’s daily limit controls how many messages an account or executive can send during a period, and your email provider may impose additional limits. Knowing which one applies helps you find the right fix. For example, a campaign may not activate because there is not enough balance or because some executives would exceed their daily volume.

Campaign credits, CRM daily limits, and provider policies are separate controls.

Check the credit balance

  1. Open the user menu and select Licensing. This screen requires superadministrator access; if you cannot open it, ask that person to check the balance.
  2. In Licensing, open the Add-ons tab and look for Mass Emails Delivery. The Balance column shows the amount recorded for the account.
  3. If you cannot find the item, ask the superadministrator to confirm whether the add-on is available and what balance the account has. If needed, they can review purchase options under Order.
The balance is not a universal daily email quota
Mass-email credits are not user licenses and do not replace an authorized sender account. They also do not tell you how many messages each mailbox can send per day.

Understand daily limits

CRM applies daily controls to keep an account or executive within its assigned sending volume. If an individual send exceeds the available limit, CRM may show how many emails were sent today, how many remain, and the limit. When a campaign is activated, a validation can identify executives whose planned volume exceeds their allowance. Use those details to adjust recipients or the send schedule; retrying without a change will not resolve the limit.

Your email provider may also limit sending rate, recipients, authentication, or reputation. Those values depend on your service and your organization’s current policies. Before scheduling a large campaign, confirm the provider’s limits with your administrator.
