Rapport means having the ability to have a good communication and understanding with a given person.
From a psychological perspective rapport is the establishment of an agreement of trust and harmony between two people to create an environment of understanding between them, avoiding judgments, distortions in communication or misunderstandings to achieve the active listening of both parties.
Rapport is established tacitly or directly with an agreement in the first moments of the interaction and in the sales relationship, establishing an adequate rapport allows the salesperson to gain the prospect's trust, facilitates communication and increases the customer's feeling of comfort when acquiring the products or services.
