SaaS

Software as a Service, it refers to companies that market software, and this software, instead of being perceived as a product, is sold as a service.

It is the provider company that takes care of the maintenance service, the daily operation and support of the software used by the customer. In this type of service, we normally access through the browser without attending to the software. All development, maintenance, updates and backups are the responsibility of the provider.

In this way, the support and data that is handled does not reside on the servers and computers of the company that uses the software, but is hosted on servers of a third-party company, which can be accessed from any browser and mobile device.

An example would be Upnify, which is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) in the cloud.
