The way or means by which products or services are carried out to the market so that they can be purchased by consumers. A sales channel can be direct or indirect (through an intermediary, such as a retailer or distributor).
Examples of direct channels: direct sales, e-commerce, telemarketing or sales force (internal or field), all directly managed by the brand.
Examples of indirect channels: distributors, partners, reps, franchisees, wholesalers and retailers.
