Also known as "Call Speech", it is the outline of the points to be covered in a telephone conversation with a customer and/or prospect. It is generally used by telemarketers and inbound sales executives to improve the speed of their calls.
The format of a sales script will depend on the needs of each company's agents. It usually contains key aspects that should be developed in the communication, although there are also rigid scripts that include the wording of the conversation and there are even those that only list the answers to objections that are frequently heard.
